Elora Brewery is always one of our favorite stops. Located in Elora's historic district, it's a beautiful venue with some great beer.
Their current rotating tap is the Neon Pegasus, a DDH Brett IPA and "Wondering Monk", their Belgian IPA, Their core beers are "Three Fields" lager, "Lady Friend" English IPA, and of course "Elora Borealis" Pale Ale. You may find a few more on tap, such as their Pilsner or Guava-Sour. It seems like the only problem with their beer selection is that they can't hold on to it!
The kitchen at Elora Brewing is also a point of pride, as they do their best to be farm-to-table, committed to building relationships with local farmers. They also do daily features such as, Curry Monday, Burger Tuesday, Smokehouse Wednesday, and Pizza Thursday.
Now, back to the beer. Yes, their small batch rotating taps are always great tasting and season appropriate. But their core beers are nearly perfect for their respective styles. Especially their Lager and Pale Ale... We don't know if they can really taste any better. I'd put the "Borealis" right beside Bellwoods' "Jutsu" and maybe even call it better! When fresh, it's just as hazy and juicy, but without any lactose.
It's a must visit for sure, and with all the other great breweries around Elora, you can use our map and take a little tour of the region.
