Signal Brewery is located in the distillery district of Corbyville, just north of Belleville. They currently offer their 4 core beers (an IPA, NEPA, Pilsner, and Altbier) along with a few rotating series. Currently they have an Imperial Stout and Cherry Sour, both of which are fantastic.
You can learn more about the building and lands history here but to sum it up, it has taken over large abandoned building where JP Wisers Whisky was once produced in the 1920s.
The building has been beautifully renovated, situated along the river. They offer a wide range of food and have live music (on a proper stage) every week. If you're visiting from the city, you may feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but their owner, Richard, and staff will make you feel right at home.
Signal Brewery is a must visit, even if you're not the biggest beer fan... yet!
And for the beer nerds: they brew with their own water source and each style of beer has a unique level of water softness!
